Alberta Theatre Projects is a registered charitable organization, incorporated under the Societies Act of the Province of Alberta.
As one of Canada's leading producers of contemporary Canadian theatre, ATP is financed by ticket sales and other earned income (37%), contributions from government (32%), and community support (31%) through foundation partnerships, corporate sponsorships, philanthropic gifts from corporations and individuals and special events.
More than 61% of our expenses go directly to supporting our three programming priorities which are to produce a season of award-winning contemporary theatre, to celebrate creation and innovation through the Enbridge playRites Festival of New Canadian Plays and to support our LEGACY (Lifelong Education and Growth for Artists, Community and Youth) programs.
