ATP's LEGACY to our community:
Lifelong Education and Growth for Artists, Community and Youth
Here at Alberta Theatre Projects we believe that theatre and the arts can make a positive impact on the people of our community. And that, to us, means ALL people, no matter what cultural or economic sector they come from. It was with this philosophy that our LEGACY program (Lifelong Education and Growth for Artists, Community and Youth) came into being. The LEGACY program encompasses all of our initiatives to support the growth and deepen the theatre experience for new and existing audiences. These initiatives include all our programs for youth including the popular Classroom Connections and Student Matinee Series, the Job Shadowing program, the Junior Apprentice Program, the U of C Internship Program, the Student Writer’s Group, Backstage Tours, CIBC Theatre for All, as well as all of our programs for the Community, and Artists. |

One of our goals is to work hand in hand with the teachers in our community to facilitate the most positive experience for all the young people in Calgary. As the youth and community continue to change, so does the LEGACY program. Please do let us know if you want to discuss any other possibilities we can create together for young people for the future.
