Performance Details

A gentle comedy about how awkward life can be when you're working your way through loss.

Eight months ago, four-year-old Danny was hit by a car while running into the street, chasing the family dog. Now, parents Becca and Howie are struggling to hang onto their memories, their sanity and each other. Through honesty and humour, Rabbit Hole candidly dives into the remarkably unexpected ways we flail through heartache; showing us that when the biggest falls don't break us, there is hope for healing. A deeply moving play that will touch you to your core.

David Lindsay-Abaire is one of America's hottest contemporary playwrights. He has recently been awarded the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for Rabbit Hole and has been attracting the biggest names in show business: Cynthia Nixon, John Slattery, Sarah Jessica Parker, Rosie Perez, Keith Reddin and Tyne Daly, to name just a few. His work has stunned audiences across the US and we're ecstatic to bring his striking voice to Canadian audiences. A writer you need to know and a play you won't soon forget.
