Forensic psychiatrist Penelope Douglas investigates an epidemic of soullessness, lipstick intact. Drawing from genres such as neo-noir, television procedurals and the graphic novel, Drama is an edgy, darkly funny ensemble piece set in a city not unlike Calgary. Hines’ multi-genre black comedies have traveled the globe, winning a loyal following for what the Montreal Gazette pronounced "Greek Tragedy by Betty Boop."
