Playing With Fire: The Theo Fleury Story

by Kirstie McLellan Day (Calgary, AB)

Saturday February 18, 4:30 p.m., in the Big Secret Theatre

Get your Flames jersey on and come get a sneak peek at the bold and honest one man show about one of Calgary’s brightest Flames before it ignites our stage in the spring.  This adaptation of Theo Fleury's best-selling memoirs takes us on an emotional journey both on and off the ice.

Best Play/Worst Play

by The Chop Theatre (Vancouver, BC)

Saturday February 25, 4:30 p.m., in the Big Secret Theatre

Best Play/Worst Play

What is the best play you have ever seen?  What is the worst play you have ever seen? Do you like a happy ending?  The Chop Theatre wants to know!  These inventive artists are polling people across the country about what they like and what they don’t like.  The findings will inspire a new piece of theatre starting at Works in Progress.

Be a theatre critic! As part of the Best Play/Worst Play visit us at the Martha Cohen Theatre and at ATPlive.com during the Enbridge playRites Festival to let us know what you like and what you don’t like at the theatre.

The God that Comes

by 2b theatre company and Hawksley Workman (Halifax, NS/Toronto, ON)

Music and Performance by Hawksley Workman, Created by Christian Barry and Hawksley Workman

UPDATED!! Saturday March 3, between 10:30 - 11:00 p.m., in the Big Secret Theatre
Seating is very limited and will be on a first come first serve basis. Tickets will be distributed at 10:00 p.m. in the Centre Court.

Join us for a special late-night cabaret experience; a concept album for the stage inspired by Bacchus, the Greek god of wine, starring one of Canada’s most electrifying performers, Hawksley Workman.  This solo performance fuses the chaotic revelry of a rock concert with the intimacy of theatrical storytelling, inviting us to raise a glass and rediscover our animal instincts.
